Back on Nov. 4, Puff Daddy celebrated his 46th birthday with plenty of Instagram posts featuring random New Yorkers wishing him a happy birthday, Ciroc and a new mixtape MMM. The final track on the project "Blow A Check" featuring French Montana and Zoey Dollaz now has a music video to go along with it and it is as over the top as one might expect from him, channeling Martin Scorsese's Wolf Of Wall Street.
The video starts out pretty tame with the trio of rappers out in some abandoned warehouse space surrounded by very little cash and only a few women. Dollaz handles the opening verse, which focuses in on money. Then things start to ratchet up as Dollaz ends up in Bentley convertible hitting a mailbox filled with cash and Puff gets chased out of the building by a throng of half-naked women.
The scene returns to civilization, but it is barely civilized. The visuals flip back and forth between a wild office party reminiscent of Wolf Of Wall Street with coke, women and booze everywhere and the rappers surrounded by plenty of disposable cash.
They start out burning a few dollars at a time, but as the videos reaches its conclusion, Puff finds himself in a room sitting in front of a giant pile of burning cash.
As one might expect there are too many product placements to count, but that is just Puff being a businessman.
French ends up getting a big $1 million check, which in real life Puffy did give him, but Montana ended up donating that money to charity.
When you look at your next paycheck, try not to cry at the wonton disregard for money in this video.
