Wiz Khalifa Accepts Kanye West's Apology in Interview With Power 105.1

Wiz Khalifa has formally accepted Kanye West’s apology in an interview with Power 105.1. He also referred to himself as the “Bob Marley” of the situation, although he was there to promote his sixth studio album, Khalifa.

When asked if West’s reaction was a surprise, Khalifa told host Angie Martinez: “I think everybody was but it’s cool. Everything’s cool. We spoke and it’s all good… Yes, he apologized and I accept his apology, and everything’s all good. Ain’t no animosity.

“It was just meant to be,” Khalifa said, referring to the phone call. “There’s too many people in between that are awesome for that to be real. The social media thing was one thing but the reality of the situation was we spoke and it’s all good.” The rapper also told Martinez that Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian had also made up.

“I’m like the Bob Marley of this,” Khalifa finished with. “When you really don’t want problems, then they don’t happen.”

The war of words between Khalifa and West began over the change of West’s album name from Swish to WAVES. Khalifa claimed that WAVES was ripped off from rapper Max B. Now that the dust has settled, West took to Twitter to tease another secret album title Sunday night, hinting that there may be yet another change. He also bragged about his high Twitter stats and said he received 10,000 retweets on his album tease post in a short period of time.
