Drake Advertises New Album 'Views From The 6' with Billboards in Toronto

Drake’s Views From The 6 may very well be one of the most anticipated albums of the year and he’s keeping the momentum going with new advertisement in his hometown of Toronto. He’s plastered the city with billboards just in time for NBA All-Star Weekend.

As noted by HotNewHipHop, the first ad was tweeted out by Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport on Tuesday (Feb. 9) afternoon. The tweet consisted of two separate pictures and an ad reading “Four plus Two Equals 6.”

The “6 God” rapper later took to Instagram to share a larger billboard, which simply read “Views,” that was put up downtown Toronto.

Back in November, a mysterious billboard seen in Drake’s hometown led many to believe that the album’s release was approaching. Adding to its mystique, Drake shared a photo of the black billboard, which read, "The 6 is watching." He captioned the photo on Instagram with, “be home soon.”

Drake first revealed the title of his fourth studio effort back in July of 2014. Since then, he has announced that Views will be released in April to seemingly commemorate Toronto's area code. He has not yet confirmed a specific release date.

It was originally speculated that the album would drop in spring 2015 because of a lyric from "0-100 / The Catch Up,” where he raps, "We already got spring 2015 poppin' / PND droppin' / Reps-Up P droppin' / Majid Jordin droppin' / OB droppin' not to mention me droppin'."

Though fans have been anticipating the release of Views, Drake has managed to keep the masses satisfied with releases including his platinum-selling IYRTITL, WATTBA with Future, his infectious “Hotline Bling” single and the buzz worthy "Summer Sixteen."
