Earlier this month, reports began to circulate that Ciara was suing her ex fiancee, Evol rapper Future for defamation of character. It didn't take long for Wendy Williams to weigh in on the former pair's dispute. Unfortunately for Williams, she ran into the "I Bet" singer just days later, leading to quite the awkward run-in.
Last Tuesday (Feb.9) on The Wendy Williams Show, the host didn't mince words when conveying exactly how she felt on her "Hot Topics" segment rearding the pending lawsuit Ciara had filed against her ex Future.
"I'm a straight shooter, and I always have been. Ciara, Future is not the reason your music hasn't sold ... One more thing and don't take this the wrong way. Okay, take it how you want to. You are his fourth baby's mother with four children ... [When he] only had three baby's mothers with three children, that should have been a drive-by," she said.
Shortly following those statements, Ciara and Williams ran into one another at the Keds100 event where the songstress performed.
Williams shared with audience members just how uncomfortable the encounter was as the two exchanged a hug, a kiss and a few brief words. According to Williams, Ciara told her, "there are always other sides to the story you don't know about."
This is not the first time the brash former NY radio personality has voiced her strong opinions on the show. Late last year her and former LHHNY star Erica Mena had words with one another after she had some pretty distasteful things to say about Mena after her and Shad Moss' broken engagement.
