After her mind-blowing performance during the Super Bowl, Lady Gaga, once again, made the music world proud as one of the performers to pay tribute to David Bowie in this year's Grammy Awards. But prior to the tribute, Lady Gaga got a David Bowie tattoo, People reported.
The "Till It Happens To You" singer shared a Snapshat of the inking process done by Mark Mahoney, with a caption that says, "this was the image that changed my life." She posted two more Snapchats with the second post captioned "Hail Mary full of grace Saint Bowie" and one last post with simply, "Blackstar."
The tattoo, which is Gaga's permanent way of giving honor to the late star, was inspired from the cover of Bowie's Aladdin Sane album.
The affection of Gaga to Bowie, who died last month at the age of 69 due to cancer, is known to most of us since the American Horror Story star is vocal about it, as previously reported by Music Times.
"When I fell in love with David Bowie, when I was living on the Lower East Side, I always felt that his glamor was something he was using to express a message to people that was very healing for their souls," she said, according to Billboard. She also added that Bowie was a true artist and she wants to be like him.
According to Pop Sugar, apart from this recent tattoo, Gaga also has a unicorn with her album title Born This Way on her upper left thigh, an anchor on her left side, and others.
