It's time to take to the streets... 22 Jump Street, that is. Today (June 3), the soundtrack and its full tracklisting was announced for the sequel to the 2012 Channing Tatum/Jonah Hill movie 21 Jump Street, in all its hip-hop glory.
According to a press release, the soundtrack to the film will feature music from Wiz Khalifa, Duck Sauce, Steve Aoki and more, including previously unreleased material.
The signature song of the movie and soundtrack, "22 Jump Street (Theme From The Motion Picture)" from Angel Haze and Ludacris premiered on Vibe, recalling the electronic music vibes, chaos and party-friendly atmosphere of the first movie.
The album will be released to iTunes and other digital retailers on June 10, with a physical release following on June 24. It's coming to stores in conjunction with Columbia Pictures/MGM and Casablancas Records.
Meanwhile, the movie 22 Jump Street will hit theaters on June 13.
