Anti-Beyonce Protest Was Reportedly a Lonely Three-Man Party

Today was supposed to make history for anti-Beyonce protestors, but what was supposed to be a huge demonstration ended up being more of an episode of Three's Company. Yes, that's right -- only three people showed up to protest Bey's "Formation" video, which has been called anti-cop by conservatives.

According to The Cut, the protest was scheduled for 8 a.m.- 4 p.m., but in that time only three people showed up. Ariel Kohane, one of the protestors, blamed the weather, work and lunch. "Some of us are surprised that there are only a couple of us out here today," he said. "It is scheduled from 8 to 4 p.m.; it's a business day. Also, the weather; the rain turned a lot of people away. You know, 6 p.m. would be a better time. Even lunch time: 12 p.m., 1 p.m."

There were pro-Beyonce demonstrators there, ready to support Queen B.

The third protestor who showed up, April Bedunah, got a talking to from Bey fan Taj Sutton: "I have cop friends... of all ethnicities. And I pray for them because I worry for them, especially my black cop friends. Because race permeates that shit, too. Have you heard about any white cops in the last five years getting indicted for the murder of a black person?" Sutton said, according to Complex.

Watch the video for "Formation" and tell us what you think.
