Morrissey Cancels Fourth Concert in Atlanta in 18 Months Due to Virus

Despite adhering strictly to a vegetarian lifestyle, Morrissey is always seeming to experience an array of health issues, causing the "Earth Is The Loneliest Planet" singer to cancel his concert tonight (June 4) in Atlanta.

According to Access Atlanta, Morrissey and some of his supporting crew have come down with a nasty virus, but that doesn't mean the people of Atlanta are okay with the scrapped show, which was reportedly selling well.

This is incredibly the fourth time since December 2012 that Moz has had to cancel a show in the city, and with refunds available at the point of purchase for hopeful fans, it doesn't seem like Morrissey is planning to return to Atlanta anytime soon.

This is the first show on Morrissey's 2014 tour that has been cancelled to illness, quite the feat considering the fate of his North American tour last year, which ended with 22 cancelled dates after the singer experienced an array of health issues.

Assuming this illness is just a temporary thing, Morrissey will be returning to the live circuit on Friday, June 6, in Atlantic City.

Peak at the rest of his 2014 tour dates below:

06/6: Atlantic City, NJ @ Revel Ovation Hall
06/7: Boston, MA @ Boston Opera House
06/10: Baltimore, MD @ Meyerhoff Symphony Hall
06/11: Washington, DC @Lincoln Theatre
06/13: Chicago, IL @ Civic Opera House
06/14: Flint, MI @ James Whiting Auditorium
06/16: Lewiston, NY @ Artpark Main Stage Theater
06/17: Wilmington, DE @ Grand Opera House
06/19: Hershey, PA @ Hershey Theatre
06/21: New York, NY @ Barclays Center (with Sir Cliff Richard)

Morrissey is touring in early promotion for his forthcoming album World Peace is None of Your Business, which is due to drop July 17.

Earlier this week, Morrissey teamed up with Pamela Anderson to release a spoken-word music video for the track "Earth Is The Loneliest Planet."
