Funkadelic have just released another round of the hit remix "Ain't That Funkin' Kinda Hard on You?" featuring Ice Cube.
If you recall, Funkadelic released a three-disc album back in 2014 titled First Ya Gotta Shake the Gate, featuring the hit track. Then in September of 2015, the group released the Louie Vega remix which featured Kendrick Lamar.
According to Pitchfork, the latest remix is titled "We Ain't Neva Gonna Stop Remix," and features Kendrick's original verse. But Cube's verse is fresh and definitely deserves a listen. The Cali rapper raps about his son O'Shea Jackson, Jr., N.W.A. and more. "It's that self-made Kool-Aid, look what red and blue made/Turned O'Shea to N.W.A.," Cube raps.

Funkadelic is standing strong and releasing new music as they support their bandmate, Bernie Worrell. According to Rolling Stone, Worrell was diagnosed with stage-four lung cancer and is also suffering from prostate cancer as well as stage-four liver cancer. Worrell's wife, Judie, made the announcement on Facebook back in January and since then has started an Indiegogo page to raise money for Worrell's next album, Retrospectives. The page raised $14,305.
Worrell's wife wrote to The Asbury Park Press about his status, "Bernie was first diagnosed with prostate cancer but a mild form and the doctors said men can live with that 20 to 30 years. Then tests showed 4th stage liver cancer that has metastasized to his liver and the pleural cavities. We are investigating various options."
Get well soon, Bernie!
