After attending the Grammys with pal Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift proved once again that she is a good buddy as she joined the wedding of her best friend, Britany Maack, as the maid of honor, calling herself the "happiest Maid of Honor."
The "Blank Space" singer went home to her native Berks County to serve as maid of honor for her lifelong friend's wedding, whom she met when she was still a kid. Maack married Benjamin LaManna at the chapel of the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters that was followed by a reception at Berkshire Country Club, Bern Township.
The bride and her BFF superstar donned gowns designed by Reem Acra. Swift was wearing a light blush-color long gown which appeared as a perfect complement to the white lace-bodice wedding dress of Maack, Vogue reported.
The designer was their choice because she was their favorite. The two visited Acra's NYC showroom to see their gowns over the summer which was defined by the award-winning singer as the "the best day ever."
Swift posted a photo of the wedding on her Instagram saying, “I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten. Now they’re married and I’m the happiest maid of honor ever.”
Back in 2015, Maack requested Swift be the maid of honor for her wedding through a letter with their framed photo wearing costumes as little girls. Said image was shared by the "Bad Blood" singer on her Instagram account.
"I've never been a maid of honor before," Swift told People magazine back in May. "This is my first time, and it's really, really important to me because this is my best friend, who I've known since I was born. And she's marrying someone I've known since I was 4."
Maack and Swift have been friends all their life especially because of the friendship of their families. "Taylor's family was my family," Maack said according to Reading Eagle. "In the summer our parents would go to the beach, and I always remember going to her house in Stone Harbor (N.J.). Her parents would take us on boat and Jet Ski rides, and we would play all day long in that bayside house."
