Since Gwyneth Paltrow is more focused on acting, fans may not remember that she is also a singer, but her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will surely remind us of her singing prowess. Paltrow, who had hits in 2011 for the film Country Strong, sang with Fallon in a unique duet for the show’s segment entitled First Textual Experience. In the segment, the two sang some soulful and slow tones from romantic texts that turned into awkward, hilarious conversations, Entertainment Weekly reported.
The text messages from the supposed romantic interests turned musical despite the embarrassing messages. One conversation included a funny auto-correct fail involving “manboobs” instead of “Monday,” while another faced a Valentine’s Day shutdown.
There is also one suitor who copied the lyrics of Lionel Richie’s song "Hello.” Another one even responded with a hilarious “SERVICE 404 ERROR” message.
Previously, Paltrow was part of ex-husband Chris Martin’s Coldplay album in 2015, A Head Full of Dreams. She sang “Everglow” for the record.
Other songs of Paltrow includes "Me and Tennessee," "Coming Home," "Bette Davis Eyes," "Just My Imagination," "Shake That Thing," and more.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that she will take a break from acting to focus on her lifestyle company, Goop.
"We took some investment last year, so as soon as we had other people's money, I realized I really better focus on this completely," Paltrow said, according to Huffington Post. "I'll return to acting probably, but probably not right now.”
