The collaboration was initially teased as a part of the aforementioned Cloud Nine album teaser.
The performance features Kygo sitting down at a piano leading the main melody, a guitarist, a drummer carrying the soft percussion and another guy on keyboards assisting on backing vocals.
Labrinth shows a softer side of his vocal sensibilities, leaving behind the rapping or powerful, upbeat hooks for soft and vulnerable lyrics, crooning "baby I am fragile, fragile, fragile" in the chorus.
As one might expect from Kygo and his team, even with a soft and personal song, there is plenty of production with all of the lights in use, streaking across the performers and through the audience.
This track is a bit different from the beach-ready tropical house that one expects from Kygo and it is good to see him branch out, though things may change once we hear the final album version.
He was also interviewed as part of the performance, speaking about his success and more, remarking "I had sat and dreamed about this in my room for five years, and then it happened. It was a dream come true."
Kygo has not revealed when the album will be released or when this single will drop either.
