Although Bebe Rexha wrote the chorus of hit song "The Monster" by Eminem and Rihanna, the star has not released her own album yet, but it appears that it is happening soon as she just debuted her new song “No Broken Hearts," featuring Nicki Minaj.
The song, which marks her return to the spotlight, is the official lead single of her upcoming debut album from Warner Bros. Records which will be out later this year. “No Broken Hearts” was first played on The Elvis Duran Show on NYC’s Z100 earlier this morning and was released on iTunes, Direct Lyrics wrote.
The urban-pop song tells about being brokenhearted in finding true love. She wants to forget her sadness even just for a night by partying in the club with her friends where "there will be no broken hearts." The song added that she will turn her “heartbreak” into rounds of shots. The tune features a laid-back beat and an auto tune aesthetic, Perez Hilton noted.
Minaj was apparently excited about the new song as she shared their promotional picture to Instagram, wherein she is posing back-to-back with Rexha. The image is captioned with the lyric verse that Minaj contributed to the song.
To recall, Rexha started her singing career in the ska-dance band Black Cards with Pete Wentz. She also co-wrote songs for Tinashe, Eminem, and Iggy Azalea and also collaborated with G-Eazy for “Me, Myself & I.”
This project is not the first time that Rexha and Minaj worked together. Previously, they teamed up for David Guetta’s hit, “Hey Mama,” which also features Afrojack, Fuse TV reported.
