The Bergamot Share New York City-Inspired 'Forget About Tomorrow' Video

A lot of bands have a special bond that comes from playing together, writing music together, living together on the road and going through the ups and downs of the turbulent music business. However there are few bond stronger than a husband and wife. The Bergamot bring that together in a rare husband-wife duo band comprised of Jillian Speece and Nathanial Paul Hoff. The pair just released their new single "Forget About Tomorrow" taken from the freshly released album Tones and we have the exclusive premiere for the music video here.

The video starts out with The Bergamot in their studio rehearsal spot playing the song with a full band. Shot in black and white, it occasionally flips to shots of Hoff standing by the New York City waterfront with the Manhattan skyline behind him.

"'Forget About Tomorrow' captures the rawness of New York City," says the band in an email. "The music video was filmed in our band rehearsal spot in Brooklyn, New York. The driving force behind the video is the vibrant musicality of the song and our energy together in such an intimate space."

The band recently wrapped up a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund their 50 State Unity Tour. The smashed their original goal of $15,000 to hit $19,000. Fans have been invited to sign their well-traveled Volvo, which they use along the tour and then will auction off once the gigs are done. The proceeds will go to the Memorial Children's Hospital in their hometown of South Bend, Indiana.
