Festival season is just around the bend and now some of the late summer events are starting to unveil their lineups. Glastonbury went for it this morning and now FYF Fest in Los Angeles has released its 2016 lineup headlined by Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala on Saturday, Aug. 27 and then LCD Soundsystem and Grace Jones the following night on Sunday, Aug. 28.
The rest of the lineup is packed with big names from across hip-hop, rock, indie and a little electronic.
The small contingent of live electronic acts and DJs will include Bicep, The Black Madonna, Moby and Todd Terje & The Olsens. Hip-hop will be represented by a few hot in demand names on the festival circuit such as Young Thug, Vince Staples and Rae Sremmurd.
The bulk of the lineup will be for indie and rock acts such as Grimes, Air, Beach House, Father John Misty, DIIV, who are recovering from an urgent health emergency in Europe, Wild Nothing, Viet Cong and others.
Two-day general admission passes are available starting at $200, while single day tickets are available for $125. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 1 at noon local time. FYF Fest will take place Aug. 27-28 at Exposition Park in Los Angeles. Head to their website to pick up tickets and for the daily lineup breakdown.
