Tensions ran high between singer K. Michelle and radio host Angela Yee during a recent Breakfast Club Morning Show -- the reality show star accused the host of instigating a beef between herself and other artists.
According to The Breakfast Club Online, the Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart singer stopped by the station to promote her new album, More Issues Than Vogue, and to clear up some lingering rumors about her relationship with actor Idris Elba, Memphitz and her boyfriend, Bobby Mace, from her VH1 reality show K. Michelle: My Life.
K. Michelle, whose real name is Kimberly Pate, used her interview time to address an issue she has with co-host Yee. According to Breakfast Club co-hosts Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy, rappers Maino and Uncle Murda visited the show crew last week. During the interview, Uncle Murda alluded to having had sex with Pate and said "[her] private parts had a foul odor,' according to the site.
The "Maybe I Should Call" singer caught wind of the interview and addressed it. But Pate ultimately felt Yee was the one who stirred it all up.
"There's not much you can do in a situation like that," said Pate of Uncle Murda's comments about her.
The singer/songwriter said she didn't know the rapper, and his comments stemmed from a feud she had with his friend, rapper Lil' Kim. She took her frustration out on Yee, whom she believed encouraged his rant.
"You know how the media attacked me," said Pate. "So you know, any negative headline that they can put up about me to overshadow my music, it's what they do," she said. "What you did was f—ed up ... and at the end of the day I ain't f—ed with you for that, so let's move on."
The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star was present with camera men, according to The Grio, which inspired Yee to refrain from the drama.
