Since 2002, Freedom Fest has been bringing families and friends together in Janesville, Wisconsin. What started as a backyard BBQ for a church family is now one of the largest community events in the area with between 25,000 and 30,000 attendees each year.
Freedom Fest 2014, held on June 28th, will offer carnival rides, rock climbing, a petting zoo, fireworks, food from local vendors at discounted rates, music from three of the hottest artists in Christian music and a free health clinic courtesy of Mercy Health Systems with various health screenings and education seminars. Mandisa, The City Harmonic and Citizen Way will all perform and Pat Williams, co-founder and senior vice president of the NBA’s Orlando Magic and basketball Hall-of-Famer, will speak.
Best of all, the festival is free! There is no charge for the events, the concerts, the fireworks or even for parking. Thanks to 60+ generous sponsors, the only money attendees will spend will be on food and souvenirs.
