It's been reported that following a Nas, Schoolboy Q and Flying Lotus concert at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater in the Denver area, shots were fired by a man with a rifle just outside the show. Police are still on the hunt for the shooter.
The gunman shot at least three people in an SUV outside the show just after the concert had ended.
According to the Denver Post, a spokesperson for the Jefferson Country Sheriff's Office stated they are still "trying to figure out what happen." Over the course of the night, the Sheriff's Dept. said via Twitter that no arrests have been made and no one is in custody.
While none of the injuries were fatal, the three wounded victims in the SUV alerted police at the corner of 6th Avenue and Kalamath Street.
The shooter was described as a "black male with a rifle." And since the incident occurred just after the concert had wrapped up, police were forced to check all of the cars upon exiting to "make sure that the suspect wasn't trying to smuggle himself out of the park," as Mark Techmeyer, the Sheriff's Office spokesperson, mentioned.
It's been noted that thousands of people attended last night's rap concert.
There has been one widely circulated photo from the scene, however, which shows a Schoolboy Q look-alike in handcuffs being taken away by authorities.
The rapper has not made any comments since the time of the shooting nor have the authorities made any identification as to who the person in handcuffs is.
