Marshmello, the anonymous future bass and trap producer, has unveiled his first music video. The hyped producer chose his rap collaboration with Omar Linx "Keep It Mello" that was released last year and then found on his compilation album Joytime. The video is stacked with cameos by his fellow DJs and producers like Dillon Francis, Mija, Getter and others.
The video starts out with Marshmello donning his helmet to conceal his identity, which has spawned way too many speculative think pieces, and trying to eat some marshmallows for breakfast like a cannibal. He links up with Omar Linx and they head to a convenience store to pick up some beers and snacks where they run into some aggressive fellow, who happens to leave his keys in his fast golf cart.
They take this over to a party at some big house in LA with a high percentage of other Djs like Ghastly, Ookay, Dillon Francis, Getter and Mija all at the party. Everyone is drinking marshmallow drinks from various glasses, whether it is from a martini glass, during a game of beer pong or a shoey (where you chug from a shoe).
They don't make the party scene too long and gratuitous, thankfully, and cut it off once an attractive girl spots Marshmello.
The video fades to black with Linx and Marshmello standing in the dark with a view over Los Angeles.
Watch the video below and try and find as many other DJs in the video as you can. Don't try and spot his identity from it.
