Miami Rappers Trick Daddy & Trina to Join 'Love & Hip Hop' Franchise

Since the announcement was made that Mona Scott-Young was planning to expand her Love & Hip Hop franchise to Miami, New Orleans and Houston, many supporters of the show became curious as to who she would get to join cast. Now, at least one of the cast members of the new Miami market, Trick Daddy, has spoken out and confirmed his spot on the show, while Trina is also rumored to be joining the cast.

The meeting between the "I'm A Thug" rapper and the boss, Scott-Young, has already taken place and solidified his spot on the show, according to an exclusive interview with Bossip.

"I just met with Mona last week and we're trying to do this thing right, put some real Miami b*tches and real Miami n*ggas on the show," confirmed Trick Daddy.

Trick, real name Maurice Samuel Young, rose to fame in the '90s with hits like "Shut Up," "America" and his top charting hit "Nann N*gga," that featured female rapper, and Slip-N-Slide label mate Trina. Though the two no longer share the same record label, they still continue to share the same stage and tour together, as reflected in a recent Instagram post reported by Centric.

The pair is considered Miami royalty, and aside from working with Trick on his music, Trina, real name Katrina Taylor, created a lane for herself with hits like, "Baddest B*tch" and "Pull Over." But, what fans really want to know is will she too be joining the cast of LHHM? According to Bossip, the answer to that question is YES!

A close source told the site that the rapper known as "Da Baddest B*tch" and "the Diamond Princess" will be joining the show but so far, there is no official confirmation from Trina herself.

If the report is accurate and Trina does join the Love & Hip Hop Miami cast, this won't be her first time working with Scott-Young on one of her productios, as she made a brief cameo appearance with LHHA star K. Michelle, on her solo reality show, K. Michelle: My Life.
