Looks like Kanye West is kicking off that community service sentence very fashionably ... literally. Word has it that West's mandated service is taking shape in the form of teaching at a fashion school.
It was recently reported by TMZ that West made his way to the L.A. Trade Technical College earlier today to start off his 250 hours of community service. The act comes as a result of his famous paparazzi "beatdown" case back in March. The Yeezus rapper cut a deal with a judge that abled him to avoid jail time by agreeing to do 24 months of "informal probation and 250 hours of community service," as the gossip site puts it.
West is supposedly speaking to various classes about his experiences in the fashion business. In fact, he's made a few different appearances at multiple colleges.
Today's lesson was about designers and lasted an alleged three hours. Is anyone surprised?
The visit is West's third to the L.A. Trade Technical College in the last six weeks.
So, while community service might sound like a drag, our guess is he must be feeling somewhat fortunate that he's not forced to don that ever so flattering neon vest while picking up trash. However, given the state of today's fashion, perhaps that's "in" ... we have no clue.
Never being one to stay out of the news, West's recent comments about famed photographer Annie Leibovitz got him into some heat when he reportedly said she backed out of being his wedding photographer because she was "afraid of celebrity." Which is the reason West claims he had to work one the now famous wedding photograph of him and wife Kim Kardashian for four days; however, he has since clarified that his comments were taken out of context.
