Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania festival Thrival Innovation and Music Festival has announced its complete 2016 music lineup. Among those heading to the steel city this September include The Chainsmokers, CHVRCHES, Thievery Corporation, Ty Dolla $ign and Metric.
Also on the lineup are names like Lettuce, Hudson Mohawke, Cheat Codes, Daya, who worked with The Chainsmokers on "Don't Let Me Down," Lettuce, Sir The Baptist and Wild Child.
"Inviting globally recognized music acts is just one facet of Thrival," says Executive Producer Dan Law in a statement. "Every year, we curate hundreds of thought leaders, speakers, and creatives from around the country to engage with thousands of attendees who are interested in cutting-edge technology and startups, the arts, new ideas - and pancake art."
Normally lineup announcement videos are pretty boring, but Thrival has spiced things with a little something to eat. Much like the commercials for various AMC shows, they used pancakes to unveil all of the artists, coloring them and cooking them in the shapes of the names. Tasty.
Thrival Musc & Innovation Festival will take place at the Carrie Furnaces in Rankin on the Monongahela River just Southeast of Pittsburgh proper. The Festival will take place from Sept. 20-24, though the music portion will occur on the final two days, Sept. 23-24. Two-day music passes are on sale now for $60.
