Diplo's Mad Decent Block Party Announces 2016 Tour Dates

Mad Decent Block Party is coming back this summer. After teasing its return over the past two weeks, Diplo's growing label Mad Decent announced the 15 shows in 13 cities today for its 2016 run.

The tour will kick off on July 30 in Ft. Lauderdale and then on Aug. 6 and 7 it will take over MCU Park in Brooklyn for the third year running for the full weekend. Brooklyn is the first city that will have two days of Mad Decent Block Party - Phoenix is the second. MDBP will also touch down in Denver, Detroit, Toronto, Philadelphia, where it all began, Chicago and elsewhere before ending in Los Angeles on Oct. 1.

This year is pared down from what Mad Decent Block party has done in the past. The tour has grown rapidly over the past few years as the label, electronic music and its leader Diplo has grown. However there have been some growing pains as well with last minute cancelations and issues with crowd control at some venues. Also his other projects, Major Lazer and Jack Ü are in high demand around the world and have busy schedules this summer.

Almost all of the dates at 18+, except for the Detroit show on Aug. 20, which is 16+ and the Denver gig on Sept. 3, which is all ages.

Presale tickets are on sale now and can be accessed using the code MDBP2016.
