Last week, Diplo faced controversy after a civil lawsuit was filed accusing him of revenge porn. More recently, the musician addressed the legal trouble on social media, warning fans not to believe what they read online.

The famed record producer Took to his official Instagram account to share a series of random photos and videos. In the caption, he wrote, "Don't believe what you read in the news. I don't own a 100 million dollar mansion."

He then noted that he never paid 450,000 euros to party in Ibiza and didn't send "dirty snapchats" in 2017.

"Let's talk about how lucky I am to party with you guys and how good the raves are here in Europe," he added.

The recent post comes days after Jane Doe, who claimed to have been in an intimate relationship with Diplo from 2016 to 2023, accused the DJ of sending sexually explicit photos and videos of her to other people.

In court documents obtained by People magazine, the musician, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, allegedly recorded himself having sex with the unknown woman several times without her consent.

She also claimed that he "disclosed and/or distributed the images and videos to third parties through text messaging and Snapchat."

The filing states that the woman and the DJ started talking on Snapchat in 2016 when she was 21. They later exchanged "pornographic images" around that time, and they decided to meet up at his hotel room in New York in June that year.

Since then, the two have been intimate until October 2023.

Jane Doe told Diplo that she didn't want him recording their sexual activities without her consent and even didn't want him to distribute the images and/or videos to other people.

Although she gave him permission to record on some occasions, she never "gave him permission to distribute those images and videos to third parties and reiterated that he was not to record them without her explicit consent."

The woman found out that Diplo had been allegedly distributing the images and videos when a third party reached out to her, and she discovered that they had "intimate material" featuring her and the musician having sex.

"There is a criminal complaint on file for unlawful dissemination for a suspect with the name of Thomas Pentz which is currently being investigated by NYPD detectives," a Deputy Commissioner, Public Information spokesperson confirmed to the outlet.
