James Blake was noticeably quiet in 2015, sharing almost no music throughout the year and staying quiet on socials. He has started to slowly get back into gear in 2016, getting some promo ready with new music and some fresh murals and billboards that have been painted in Brooklyn and London. These have revealed a new album title for his third full-length release, tentatively titled The Colour In Anything. This replaces the previously announced title Radio Silence.
Last week James Blake posted a photo on his Instagram of artist Sir Quentin Blake, who was illustrating Roald Dahl's Matilda and James and the Giant Peach.
He then retweeted a picture by Blake after the artist had finished his drawings in London.
Other murals have appeared in Brooklyn with what could be the album cover and the phrase The Colour in Anything.
James Blake has started to reveal some new music that could appear on his upcoming album. He shared his track "Modern Soul" first on his BBC Radio One residency and then online. No further details about the album have been revealed such as a release date or tracklist, but fans will have to be satisfied with this extra bit of teasing information.
