Electric Zoo has at last revealed its full 2016 lineup. The festival has been teasing out a few artists each day on social media and to be honest nobody has time to write about that. Today to celebrate Cinco De Mayo presumably, they have unveiled the full lineup headlined by Tiësto, Hardwell, Bassnectar, The Chainsmokers, Carnage and Porter Robinson.
Other acts who will be on the nearly all bill include Anna Lunoe, Andrew Bayer, Gareth Emery, GTA, Claptone, ilan Bluestone, Vanic, Sam Feldt, Steve Aoki, Big Gigantic, Illenium, Shaun Frank, Yotto, Eats Everything, Moon Boots, Lane 8 and Ame.
There are two rappers and one live crossover act oddly booked to play Electric Zoo that has been a DJ festival since its inception. Juicy J, Lil Dicky and crossover act Watch The Duck will perform at the Zoo. Lil Ducky and Juicy J have made appearances on various EDM festival bills, but it is interesting to see them on the E Zoo lineup, which has been all EDM traditionally.
Though the lineup is all electronic artists, there will be a dozen or so "live" acts that will perform on Randall's Island this year. Beyond the few aforementioned rappers who will make an appearance at the festival, there will be others such as Porter Robinson, Way Out West, Hermitude, Goldfish, Big Gigantic, HVOB, Father Dude and Pat Lok.
Stages will be curated by a variety of different labels and artist collectives including Above & Beyond's deep house label Anjunadeep, Ants, Borgore's Buygore Stage, Steve Aoki's Dim Mak, Elrow and the Sunday School Tent, which is a staple of the festival.
Electric Zoo Wild Island will take place over Labor Day Weekend from Sept. 2-4on Randall's Island in New York City. Tickets are available to purchase on the festival's website.
