Rapper Foxy Brown and her reps want answers that no one seems to be addressing on the status of her missing luggage, reportedly containing over $100 thousand worth of merchandise, that disappeared from LAX Airport last weekend.
Foxy Brown, real name Inga Marchand, posted on her Instagram a sad and tragic account of what took place just hours before her scheduled Gay Pride Festival performance in Palm Springs, CA on Friday, May 13.
According to the Instagram post, the Ill Na Na rapper was violated when she went to the American Air baggage claim to retrieve her luggage only to find that it wasn't there. The Brooklyn rapper is referring to the incident as a "heist" as it was all caught on security footage, and reported to detectives but nothing has been solved, the accused thief has still not been found and the incident has been reported to detectives.
A rep from Brown's camp reached out to TMZ to report the theft and named some of the expensive personal items that were in her luggage. According to the site, Fox traveled with "Birkin bags, diamond jewelry and 8 pairs of high-end shoes." Even the luggage itself was reportedly an expensive high-end "Gucci suitcase."
In the Instagram post Brown mentioned how she is aware that "material things can very well be replaced" but she feels ignored by authorities who, at the time of this article, had yet to make any arrest or locate her luxury possessions that she describes as "Fox Vintage." The rapper is seeking justice and plans to pursue this violation until something is done.
Despite the turmoil at the airport, the 37-year-old still managed to show up for her gig in Palm Springs and give the crowd what they wanted -- a great show.
