Bruce Springsteen, World Cup, Luis Suarez: Rock Legend Claims ‘Biting Has No Place In Sports’

New Jersey's own Bruce Springsteen may not know all that much about the World Cup, but he sure does know one thing: there's no biting in sports!

Springsteen was recently seen in New York by TMZ and questioned about his knowledge in regards to the World Cup. When asked if he followed the sport, The Boss was honest, telling the gossip photographer he's been keeping up with the epic event "a little bit."

After being educated about Luis Suarez, the soccer star and bad boy from Uruguay who recently bit a player from an opposing team (for the third time in four years, by the way), the "Thunder Road" singer-songwriter asked if there were any rules about biting in the World Cup. He then went on to state if there aren't any, "there probably should be one," with a chuckle.

"Biting has no place in sports," Springsteen continued, mentioning that Mike Tyson's famous chomp was the last one!

A noted sports fan, the rock star was quizzed on other topics related to LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony both being free agents, when and if New Jersey is getting their own team other than the NJ Devils and if he'd ever be interested in owning his own team.

To the latter, he claimed, "No, rock and roll is hard enough." Honestly, it looks to us like he's got that down pretty well, so we'll have to disagree a little bit. Respectfully, of course.
