K.Michelle fans and foes alike are calling her petty and are none too happy with the singer's recent on-stage surprise during one of her shows where she took time out of her performance to to show a video clip from the WE TV reality show, Marriage Boot Camp, of her ex-boyfriend Memphitz and his wife Toya Wright, having somewhat of a heated verbal fight.
The More Issues Than Vogue singer proved that one of those issues that she just can't seem to move past is her alleged abusive relationship with her ex, Memphitz, real name Mickey Wright. The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star has used her television platform to openly speak out against domestic violence, as reported by IBT, to share her story, or at least, her side of the story, on the abuse she endure while in a relationship with the fellow Memphis native.
She speaks of the relationship often and has even targeted his wife, Toya, the ex-wife of rapper Lil Wayne, on Instagram due to Toya's disregard of the "Maybe I Should Call" singer's public allegations. Now, according to Wet Paint, K is taking it a step further and using her stage platform to show just how volatile her ex can be when he gets angry.
The Wrights are one of the couples featured in the WE TV reality show that are making an effort to fix their marriage before it leads to divorce. During a recent episode of the show, Mickey, Toya and others are seated around a table trying to verbally hash out some of their marital woes when things suddenly took a turn for the worse and Mickey began to yell at his wife and knocked over a vase.
The "V.S.O.P" singer showed the clip to her audience during her show and shared it on her Instagram with the hashtag "# deceased."
From that moment, the social media backlash began and some followers expressed how K's actions were petty, unclassy and disrespectful to air someone's marital issues on stage at her concert. As seen in both reality shows, LHHA and K. Michelle: My Life, the singer is not one to remain silent when someone is coming for her. According to Dallas Black, the singer took to Twitter to address everyone who had something negative to say about her actions.
The singer made it perfectly clear that on her stage, she is free to do whatever and show whatever she wants, so this may not be the last time she grants The Wrights a brief cameo appearance or mention during one of her shows.
