Shortly after performing at the Summer Jam in Pittsburgh, Young Thug and his crew found themselves face-to-face with members of a SWAT team. The special law enforcement unit responded to the scene after receiving reports of someone holding a firearm.
The incident happened on Sunday at the Southside Event Center. After Young Thug finished his set for the Summer Jam, he and his entourage went backstage to board their van.
In a video obtained by TMZ, members of the event's security staff can be seen surrounding the rapper's van. Then, a few seconds later, the SWAT team enters with their rifles pointed at the van. Some of them are shouting and telling the people in the area to get down.
At this point, the person recording the video, drops the mobile phone to comply with the orders of the law enforcers. However, the police officers can still be heard shouting in the background.

According to The Source, a member of the security team called the cops after seeing someone from Young Thug's entourage brandishing a firearm at the venue. When the SWAT Team arrived, Young Thug's crew reportedly coordinated with the officers in a calm manner.
The members of the rapper's squad who had firearms that night presented their licenses and other documentation to prove that they are legally allowed to own and carry their guns.
This is not the first time that the "Digits" rapper had a run-in with the law. In July last year, Young Thug was arrested for reportedly threatening to shoot and kill a mall security guard at Dunwoody, Georgia. Also, an indictment uncovered last year revealed that Young Thug was involved in a conspiracy to kill Lil Wayne, WSBTV reported. Young Thug, however, was not charged in the indictment.
