If you're a controversial pop star with sexist and creepy new music, it's probably for the best to stay away from Internet trolls. This is a lesson Robin Thicke is learning the hard way. Today (July 1), the Paula singer was due to take over VH1's Twitter account for an #AskThicke Q&A, but the whole publicity stunt went horribly awry before it could even kick off the ground.
Before the #AskThicke session even began, thousands of people flooded the Twitter hashtag, inundating Thicke with questions about his moral character, the highly questionable content of his 2013 hit "Blurred Lines" and why he just can't leave his estranged wife Paula Patton alone.
Nothing was off topic for Thicke's detractors, from his infamous ass-grabbing mirror pick to his age to his constant post-marital obsession with Patton.
Check out some of the best/most antagonistic questions from #AskThicke below:

As could be expected, Thicke and question curators VH1 largely strayed away from the more accusatory Twitter questions and largely stuck to things regarding his new album Paula, which was released today. He laughed off the controversy with a simple "Hahaha" though...
And then logged off after 15 minutes.
