Antonio Cuna, better known to the world as Sweater Beats, has announced his new For The Cold EP, set for release on Big Beat Records in October. He has also unveiled his debut live tour to support the EP that will take him across North America this fall.
The For The Cold EP will be released on Oct. 28 -- one day after the tour kicks off on Oct. 27 in San Francisco. He released the first single from the EP, "Better" featuring Nicole Millar and Imad Royale.
The single is one of Cuna's more complete productions with his hip-hop and R&B influenced drumbeats during the verses and intro, but it slowly builds with emotive strings into a funky, jazzy hook.
The tour will kick off on Oct. 27 in San Francisco at the Mezzanine. Over the next five weeks he will play shows in Dallas, Denver, Raleigh, Washington DC, New York City, Toronto and elsewhere. The tour will end on Dec. 3 in Chicago.
