Last Friday, Emma Bunton of the Spice Girls, more popularly known as Baby Spice, joined Lady Gaga on BBC Radio 1. During their unforgettable meeting, the two pop stars sang the Spice Girls' hit track "2 Become 1."
According to MTV, Lady Gaga appeared as a guest on the show to talk about her latest single "Perfect Illusion." After a while, Bunton entered the booth to spend time with the "Bad Romance" singer.
The two stars then sang their own rendition of the 1996 hit "2 Become 1," with Lady Gaga adding her own flare to it. The very short duet was recorded by Bunton and was shared on her Instagram account.
As noted by Mirror, Bunton is currently preparing to make her musical comeback through the reformation of the Spice Girls with Melanie Brown or Scary Spice and Geri Halliwell, also known as Ginger Spice.
According to the site, the remaining members of the girl group are preparing to launch a talent show on BBC. The two winners of the show, which is projected to kick off in April next year, will get the chance to join the Spice Girls as they celebrate their 21st anniversary through a concert in July.
The two new members could also serve as the replacements for Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm, who opted out of the reunion due to personal reasons. For Beckham, or Posh Spice, she decided not to rejoin the group to focus on her family and business.
As for Sporty Spice, she decided to bow out because she felt that forming the group with a missing member didn't feel right.
