Prince died from an accidental drug overdose at his home in Paisley Park in April of this year. The iconic singer was just 57-years-old, and left behind a long list of lifetime accomplishments. As a seven-time Grammy Award winner, Prince had several Top-10 hits such as "When Doves Cry," "Let's Go Crazy" and "Kiss." He penned several songs for others, which also resulted in many awards such as "I Feel for You," sung by Chaka Khan, a singer who is also scheduled to help pay tribute on Oct. 13.
Other artists that will appear at the concert include Anita Baker, Doug E. Fresh and Luke James. Additionally, acts like Morris Day & the Time, Judith Hill, Liv Warfield, the New Power Generation led by Morris Hayes, and members of 3rdEyeGirl are also slated to attend.
Throughout his decorated career, Prince has been out on 20-plus tours, and his last and most recent was his Piano & A Microphone Tour in 2016, which ended just one week before his sudden death.
