While many are still trying to figure out how to get through the rest of 2016, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival has given some hope for 2017 with the first phase of lineup. Among those who will headline include Kings of Leon, Flume, Wiz Khalifa, Usher with The Roots, The Lumineers and Bassnectar.
Other big names on top of the bill include Solange, Pretty Lights, Rae Sremmurd, Young The Giant, Porter Robinson (Live) and Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals.
The lineup of nearly 100 artists thus far is the strongest we have seen for the 2016 slate of festivals. It is still quite early and that will undoubtedly change, but this could be an early indication of who are some of the early headliners on the circuit for 2017.
The lineup has some well-curated hip-hop & R&B names on the bill. Solange, Rae Sremmurd, D.R.A.M., Joey Purp, Gallant and Waka Flocka Flame will all perform.
There will be plenty of electronic acts across the board like The Knocks (Live), Snails, Louis The Child, Louis Futon, Snakehips and more.
Of course the festival will feature plenty of indie rockers such as Moon Taxi, Mac Demarco, Cold War Kids, The Japanese House, The Lumineers and more.
The organizers came from Bonnaroo and carried some those traditions to Okeechobee with large collaborations between various artists on the bill that are announced at the last minute.
The four-day camping festival will feature yoga, dance, art, food and more, in addition to the music.
Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will take place from March 2-5 in Okeechobee, Florida.
