Justin Bieber Egging Incident Ruling Leads to Probation, Fee and Restraining Order for 'Confident' Singer

Justin Bieber: Confident

Justin Bieber: egging vandalism

Yesterday (July 9) after Music Times reported Bieber's case had been dropped to a misdemeanor and was going to plead to lesser charges, that very event actually happened, rendering at least one rumor about Bieber true.

According to CNN, Bieber accepted a plea deal for the incident, and accepted two years of probation, a fee of $80,900 to the family, a 12-week anger management course and five days of community service.

In addition to repaying his debt to society, Bieber has also been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the family he targeted at all times... not like that should be a huge issue. The pop star sold his next door Casablancas, California, mansion to Khloe Kardashian.

The no contest ruling and Bieber's plea deal follows heightened drama in the egging incident, which Bieber and his lawyer ruled as a "silly prank" though it caused upwards of $20,000 in damages.

Following the incident, Bieber's home was raided by police under a felony warrant as police searched for evidence. The pop star was teetering on the line of a felonious charge, which the Los Angeles police department originally wanted him tagged with, though he was inevitably charged with a lesser crime.

Bieber did not appear in court. Lawyer Shawn Holley, who is best known for defending the likes of Lindsay Lohan in the past, represented him.

The legal woes of Bieber aren't over quite yet... he's still facing a DUI charge in Miami, though he's also expected to plea out in order to avoid a trail.
