2013 didn't necessarily treat pop superstar Justin Bieber particularly well, and it looks like this year is going to be just as controversial for him. Once again, the "All That Matters" singer is in trouble with the law for allegedly egging his neighbor's house.
According to The Associated Press, Bieber is named as a suspect in a misdemeanor vandalism and assault case. Reportedly, Bieber egged the door of a neighbor's house in a gated community in Casablancas, Calif., while the house's owner and her daughter were sitting on an outside porch. Apparently, the crime's victims have videotape of the incident and even exchanged some harsh words with Bieber.
As of now, the damages Bieber caused are only a misdemeanor, but if the total amount exceeds a certain amount of money, the charges could rise to a felony.
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore, Bieber has denied requests to speak to the authorities.
This isn't the first time Bieber has faced troubles in his California neighborhood. Last year, he got in trouble with his neighbors for driving recklessly through the streets, though the police refused to issue charges to him. Additionally, Bieber is known to throw the occasional raucous party.
The alleged egg tossing incident is just the latest controversy to hit Bieber. In the last year alone, he's been caught peeing in a bucket (while seemingly drunk), getting in spats with paparazzi and supposedly spitting on fans.
And there's the whole retirement "joke."
Seems like Bieber just can't grow up...
