YouTube has unveiled its 2016 rewind video that mixes and mashes up all of the viral moments of the year with some the music's biggest hits. Among the songs featured in the nearly seven minute video come from Major Lazer, Fifth Harmony & Ty Dolla $ign, The Chainsmokers, Justin Bieber and more. In addition to the rewind, YouTube also shared the top 10 most viewed videos of the year, which doesn't have too many surprises.
If you didn't watch anything on YouTube this year and totally checked out entirely (probably for the best), this would do a pretty good job on catching you up on the trends you could likely forget in the next few weeks.
There is the revival of Ghost Town DJ's "My Boo," dabbing, water bottle flipping and plenty more.
Several celebrities make an appearance in the video as well like The Rock, who introduces the video, Seth Myers, Trevor Noah, Nicky Jam, Charlamagne Da God and even The Chainsmokers themselves.
James Cordon finishes off the video with a special YouTube star edition of Carpool Karaoke.
Plenty of YouTube celebrities make an appearance an appearance, like the Damn Daniel guy. A full list of them can be found in the description of the video.
