The mid-year SoundScan report has come out and the hottest country artists of the first half of 2014 definitely show that it's a man's world. Only two female artists made it into the list of top selling country albums - Miranda Lambert and Jennifer Nettles.

On the top selling songs front, it was the boys club for sure. Bro-country anyone?

Artists found on both charts include Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert and Florida Georgia Line. The biggest seller of the first half of year was Luke Bryan by a landslide. Luke had the second highest selling album of the year, two singles in the Top Country Digital Songs and an appearance on a third song (with Florida Georgia Line).
