DJ Snake has unveiled the music video for his Encore single "The Half" featuring Young Thug, Jeremih and Swizz Beatz.
The video finds the four artists inside NoNoTalk's light and sound installation moving around the space that is lit up by flashing white lights. The mirrored hallways make the lighting effects much cooler as they seem to extend into the distance.
They are joined by a few women in high heels and tight clothes, showing off their asses for some of the regular clichés you might expect from a hip-hop video. Flares are set off and a good time is seemingly had by all. Swizz Beatz steals the show with his shiny gold jackets.
Director X shot and directed the video.
The video highlights DJ Snake's ascendancy from a dance DJ to a pop star, which has allowed him to work with the likes of Justin Bieber, Young Thug, Lil Jon and Travis Scott.
"The Half" is taken from DJ Snake's 2016 album Encore. In addition to Young Thug, Swizz Beatz and Jeremih, it also had features from Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Travis Scott, Migos, George Maple and others.
This is the latest music video to emerge from the album. The last music video was for his hit single "Let Me Love You," which was a futuristic take on Bonnie & Clyde.
DJ Snake had the best year of his career in 2016. He released his debut artist album Encore, performed some of his biggest shows and saw "Let Me Love You" match his highest chart position to date at No. 4, matching what "Turn Down For What" did in 2014.
