Migos are becoming masters of the viral moment. Their latest music video for the "Bad and Boujee" trio's new single "T-Shirt" has the potential to be just that. Chance The Rapper even agrees it is a cinematic masterpiece and should be up for an Oscar.
Offset, Takeoff and Quavo find themselves on a snow-covered mountaintop doing their best Leonardo Dicaprio & Tom Hardy impression from The Revenant with a few modern twists. They bring some Pyrex to help with boiling water, a few beautiful women because why not and some snowmobiles that never actually move. The trio shows off their trapping skills by shooting some bows and arrows off into the distance.
They eventually ditch the cold tent and end up in a warm cottage with fire, marshmallows and more furs to cuddle up with their snowbunnies.
Chance The Rapper has taken notice of this cut off of Migos' upcoming album Culture.
In a series of Tweets he marveled at the camerawork and direction by Daps and even asked if they could do a video for him.
"T-Shirt" is the latest single to emerge from Migos' upcoming album Culture. The LP will be released on Jan. 27.
