Following her much talked about "accidental" tweet from yesterday – in which Music Times reported Rihanna tweeted and deleted #FreePalestine – the former beau to Drake and Chris Brown is now calling for peace between Israel and Palestine... on Twitter.
The "Diamonds" singer reportedly tweeted out the below photo sometime last night after receiving an incredible amount of criticism from both fans and organization leaders in regards to her initial tweet –– which a source close to TMZ claims she didn't know was a tweet.
Amid all of RiRi's fans, most of whom were either confused or annoyed, it would seem none were more offended than Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America. Klein immediately took to the issue and trashed Rihanna, saying she "should be ashamed of herself," as GossipCop reports.
His organization is a pro-Israel group that calls the singer's tweet both despicable and anti-Semitic.
He continued, "What is she talking about 'Free Palestine'?" This statement, of course, refers to the fact that Palestine is known as its own body of government, and that its people are not necessarily enslaved. The president then commented further, saying that people should "free Jews from buying tickets to her performances."
Looks like Rih ticked off the wrong people.
The beauty from Barbados' new tweet states, "Let's pray for peace and a swift end to the Israel-Palestinian conflict! Is there any hope?...."
