If six songs on Austin Mahone's debut EP The Secret weren't enough for all the Mahomies out there, there's a brand new song out. Yesterday (July 15), the rising pop heartthrob dropped a previously unreleased song "Say My Name..." and no, it's not a Destiny's Child cover (though that would be awesome).
"Say My Name" takes Mahone a bit down that Justin Bieber path with touches of R&B woven between the poppier musical themes and Mahone's mid-to-high range vocals. The '90s weigh heavily as influences on "Say My Name," with funky guitar riffs wailing beneath heavy drums and twinges of electronic chords.
Tailored for Mahone's fanbase this song isn't so much baby-making music as maybe slow dancing music or possibly some light necking. Those deep thumps of bassline aren't for nothing, kids!

The release of "Say My Name" follows the release of Mahone's second EP The Secret, which dropped on May 27.
According to Billboard and Mahone's official Facebook page, the young star has been recording new music in the studio with Birdman, presumably for his full-length debut, due out sometime in the next year.
