"Work" singer Rihanna unlocked another milestone after landing 50th top 40 Billboard Hot 100 hit, thanks to"Lemon" her newest song collab with N.E.R.D.
The 29-year-old "Umbrella" singer who also ventured into the cosmetics business with her Fenty line is just five hits behind Taylor Swift. "Look What You Made Me Do" singer Taylor Swift landed 55 top 40 tracks in Hot 100. Swift currently holds the highest number of Hot 100 hits in the female artist category, and she comes fifth in the overall ranking.
With her 50th hit in the Hot 100, Rihanna passed Madonna's 49 Hot 100 hits.
While landing 50 songs on the Hot 100 is not an easy feat, the top spot still belongs to Elvis Presley who landed 80 Hot 100 songs. Trailing behind the King of Rock and Roll, Lil Wayne nabs the second spot with 71 hit. Drake bags the third place with 67 and Elton John takes fourth place with 57. The Beatles share the same rank as Rihanna with 50 tracks.
Weeks prior to this, it was revealed that Rihanna's 2016 album, Anti, had just reached its 100th week on the Billboard 200 chart. The album includes the songs "Love on the Brain," "Kiss It Better," "Needed Me," and "Desperado."
Since her debut, Rihanna's career continues to blossom. One of her first songs, "Pon De Replay," made it to Billboard's Hot 100 on June 11, 2005. The song became a bigger hit and it placed No. 2 on the charts. "Pon De Replay" was the singer's first track to hit the Hot 100's top 10. To date, Rihanna has 31 songs in the aforementioned category.
Meanwhile, 14 of Rihanna's songs made it to the Hot 100's No. 1 tracks. The Beatles rank higher with 20 tracks and "One Sweet Day" singer Mariah Carey holds a record of18 hits.

Aside from her recent achievements, Rihanna was also named as 2017's most streamed female artist by music streaming provider Spotify. Swift, "Wolves" singer Selena Gomez, "Into You" singer Ariana Grande, and Sia ranked second, third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.
Throughout her career, Rihanna garnered several awards including a Grammy Award for the songs "Run This Town" and "We Found Love." She also received the MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year and a BET Award.
Rihanna, known to her fans as RiRi, greeted 2018 with multiple nominations for the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Just like Ed Sheeran, Khalid, and Bruno Mars, Rihanna received five nominations.
Rihanna is also set to perform "Wild Thoughts" with DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller on Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Grammys.
