Michelle Branch announced that she and her fiancé, Patrick Carney, are expecting their first child together.
The 34-year-old singer shared a photo of her ultrasound on her social media account. Branch revealed that she and Carney were just about to send out invitations for their May wedding when they found out that she is pregnant.

Branch and Carney got engaged on the singer's birthday. She also documented the sweet moment by sharing a photo of her beautiful engagement ring. The "Everywhere" singer and the Black Keys drummer first met in 2015 at a Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles. Soon after, they started writing and recording songs together. Branch and Carney also co-produced her Hopeless Romantic album.

As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Branch and Carney will delay their wedding so they could focus on the singer's pregnancy. Details about their nuptials are also being kept under wraps.
Singer Finalizes Her Divorce From Teddy Landau
The "Goodbye To You" singer has a 12-year-old daughter named Owen, who she shares with her ex-husband, Teddy Landau. Branch said that Landau and Carney have an amicable relationship toward each other.
"I luckily have a very wonderful ex-husband, and I can say that, and I know a lot of people in my shoes can't. He's 19 years my senior. Everyone enters a relationship with the best of intentions, and we grew apart. Having our daughter together was really the balancing factor when everything was kind of coming to a close," said Branch.
Branch and Landau finalized their divorce in 2015. The couple cited irreconcilable differences as the main cause of their split. Branch and Landau have also been granted joint custody of their daughter. Court documents revealed that Branch has complete ownership of all of her songs, demos, recordings, and royalties.
Last year, Branch talked about her divorce and said that it was, ironically, an exciting time for her. After all, her split from Landau inspired her to write good music. She also started dating Carney around the same time.
