The new Grandoozy Festival is bringing Florence + The Machine, Kendrick Lamar, Stevie Wonder, St. Vincent, and a whole lot more to Colorado later this year.
The music festival recently announced its impressive full lineup for its first show ever this week. The event is scheduled to take place from Sept. 14 to Sept. 16 at the Overland Park Golf Course in Denver.
What To Expect
Aside from music, the festival is also promising a distinct experience that will showcase food, craft beers, and arts and crafts. According to Billboard, organizers of the event have invited some of the most celebrated chefs, breweries, and mixologists from all over Colorado to grace the event and highlight everything the state has to offer. The culinary aspect of the festival is called "Devour Denver."
Grandoozy also has something to offer to the nature-loving crowd. "The Backyard" will be a playground for anyone who wants an adventure. This side of the festival aims to promote Colorado as the ultimate destination for outdoor sports and adventurous activities.
Attendees will have the chance to indulge in craft beers while watching their favorite artists perform onstage. Arts & Craft Beer Experience and Flight School: Denver Distilleries, Spirits & Cocktails have already signed up to participate in the event.
The music and food festival is created by the same people behind Bonnaroo in Tennessee and Outside Lands in San Francisco.
Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday, March 23, at 10 p.m. local time on Grandoozy's official website. Capital One cardholders will get a chance to avail of pre-sale tickets starting Wednesday, March 21, until Thursday, March 22.
A 3-day pass (general admission) costs $224.50.
Other performers will include The Chainsmokers, Logic, Miguel, Phoenix, Young The Giant, The War on Drugs, 6lack, The Soul Rebels, and a lot more. The organizers also promise more artists to be added to the show's long list of performers for 2018.
Florence + The Machine Festival Schedule
Fans who will not be able to attend the Grandoozy Festival in Denver this year will have the chance to see Florence Welch and band perform live in their three other festival appearances later this year.
The band will be heading to Germany to perform at the Melt Festival on July 13. Next, the band will be headlining the Osheaga Festival alongside Arctic Monkeys in Montreal, Canada on Aug. 8. Florence + The Machine is also scheduled to perform at them Skookum Festival in Vancouver, Canada on Sept. 9.
The British band's most recent album was How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.
