Brian Wilson Holiday Tour To Feature 'The Beach Boys’ Christmas Album’

Brian Wilson is confirmed to perform all the songs from The Beach Boys' Christmas Album. This will be part of his holiday tour this year.

The album, which was released in 1964, features the songs "Little Saint Nick," "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town," "Blue Christmas," "White Christmas," "Auld Lang Syne," "I'll Be Home For Christmas," "Christmas Day," "Frosty The Snowman," "We Three Kings of Orient Are," "Merry Christmas, Baby," "Santa's Beard," "The Man With All The Toys," and "Pipes of Peace."

Wilson's upcoming holiday concert will also feature songs from his 2005 solo album, What I Really Want For Christmas. He will be joined by Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin on his series of shows. Wilson's shows will kick off on Nov. 28 in Minneapolis and will wrap up in Reno, Nevada on Dec. 23.

Last year, Wilson also made headlines after he performed the songs from the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds album during his tour. He also released Playback, which features two unreleased tracks from several years ago.

Brian Wilson Talks About His Tour

Following the release of Pet Sounds, the 75-year-old musician expressed what it is like to tour with his bandmates again.

"It's been 20 years since we first started touring again. When we were all younger we didn't know how to play as good as we do now. We've had a lot of practice and became better players than we were back then," said Wilson.

In his book, I Am Brian Wilson, the singer praised his bandmates and dished on what his memoir is all about.

"I like playing with my band more than I liked playing with the Beach Boys because they're younger and they're better players... I told the truth, the whole story of my life. It was all about how I learned to make music and the history of Beach Boys," said Wilson.
