The Arctic Monkeys have announced their latest album. Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino is the first album since their five-year hiatus.

Pitchfork, the first music media outlet to drop the exciting news, revealed that the quartet is releasing its sixth studio album. Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino will be produced by the quartet's longtime collaborator, James Ford, and the band's frontman, Alex Turner. The album will contain 11 songs that will showcase the band's new artistic vision and is expected to build on the band's previous five albums.
Song Titles And Release Date
When the group revealed the album announcement, it also released the entire track list. Among the songs that were revealed were the title track, "Four Out Of Five," "The World's First Ever Monster Truck Flip," and "The Ultracheese." According to the Evening Standard, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino is expected to be released on May 11.

A Vinyl Celebration
The Arctic Monkeys' announcement regarding their latest studio album comes after the group revealed that they would be partnering with Vinyl Me, Please. The record of the month club will release the Arctic Monkeys' debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not. It is expected to come with a 16-page booklet and would include photos, lyrics, and a cocktail recipe.
Music Festival Bonanza
The band, which is made up of Turner, Matt Helders, Jamie Cook, and Nick O'Malley, is also expected to feature heavily at this year's concert festival lineup. Arctic Monkeys are joining Alice in Chains, Queens of the Stone Age, Tame Impala, and Wolf Alice as a part of this year's Mad Cool Festival. The band is also expected to perform at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona on Saturday, June 2. Arctic Monkeys are also to perform with Lorde, A$AP Rocky, Lykke Li, and Beach House as they close out the festival.
They were also invited to perform at the 2018 Firefly Music Festival, which is taking place from June 14 to June 17. The festival is set to feature performances from Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Logic, Lil Wayne, SZA, and Foster the People.
