In the heels of the successful release of Love Yourself: Tear, BTS has revealed the artists they want to collaborate with in the future.
The K-pop stars are currently on a press tour to promote their new album, which came out on Friday, May 18. The 7-member group is also set to perform at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 20, where they were nominated in the Social Artist category.
BTS's Dream Collaboration
With songs that break records in music charts around the globe, the boys from South Korea has a huge number of fans called ARMY that include celebrities such as wrestler-actor John Cena. There is probably a long line of popular names who wish to make great music with the world-renowned performers.
However, BTS are also fans of various big names who they hope to collaborate with in the future. In an interview with Extra TV, the K-Pop stars talked about stars whose work they admired and met throughout the years. When asked by the interviewers who are the artists they enjoyed meeting in the United States, they said that it's Zedd.
This is not the first time that the band has expressed their desire to collaborate with the Russian-German DJ. In November, the "Fake Love" singers reached out to Zedd to Twitter in the hopes that they could make a new track together.
In a recent interview, the 28-year-old record producer said that his collaboration with BTS will happen, and it will come out before the year ends.
"Usually it takes a really long time for me to release a song. You have to imagine that when I decide to collaborate with somebody I probably already have a song finished in the pipeline to release after my single, and that's another half a year," he explained. "We're definitely talking about it, we want to collaborate on a song again, same issues as always, it's a mix of finding the right time and the right song."
BTS also mentioned that they are fans of The Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes, Drake, and Desiigner. As to whom they want to collaborate with, the boy band answered Charlie Puth, Troye Sivan, DJ Khaled, and, again, Drake.

BTS Makes New Records
The anticipation has been intense for BTS new album Love Yourself: Tear, and when it finally came out, fans went crazy. The music video for the album's lead single, "Fake Love," has only been available online for 24 hours, but it already amassed over 37 million views (as of this writing) and counting.
In addition, Forbes reports that the album, the group's sixth, has already started breaking records. In South Korea, the album is a runaway success weeks before it was even released.
Love Yourself: Tear, which was announced in April, sold a record-smashing 1.44 million copies six days after preorders became available last month. The album surpassed its predecessor Love Yourself: Her, which recorded 1.05 million preorder copies sold in 2017.
Their new album now holds the title of becoming the most prepurchased album of all time in South Korea.
Meanwhile, in the United States, the album and its singles are expected to appear on the music charts and dominate in the coming days.
