'Boo'd Up' Remix With Nicki Minaj, Quavo Drops
On Wednesday, July 4, the R&B singer-songwriter surprised fans with the new release. She announced the arrival of the track via Twitter.
The 23-year-old has been enjoying success since the original release of "Boo'd Up" way back in February 2017. The track went on to top the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay singles chart last month, becoming the second artist to achieve the feat since Rihanna's "Needed Me" from 2016.
The track has also been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
The remix with verses from Minaj and Quavo will make "Boo'd Up" an even bigger hit this summer.

Ella Mai's Debut 'Boo'd Up' And Making Her Debut
"At the end of the day, [the song is] like spreading love," Ella Mai, a girl from South London, said about her viral hit.
The young artist's rise to fame has been a slow-burn, but her music finally became mainstream. She signed to be a recording artist with DJ Mustard, a record executive and producer who has worked with the likes of Big Sean and Cardi B.
Ella Mai also teased that she has been working on her debut album which is set to be released soon.
"I've been working on my debut album for the past year and I can definitely say there'll be some collaborations," the singer-songwriter promised to Newsbeat.
One of her rumored collaborators is Chris Brown. Back in October, Ella Mai posted a photo with the controversial chart-topper inside what looks like a recording studio.
Neither artists have confirmed that a collaboration is on the way, but fans are excited for what is coming for the breakout artist of 2018.
